The i.s.c. Group was founded in Vienna in 1998 with the CISO Academy having had its soft launch on January 1, 2026. After more than 30 years of experience in the information security and compliance spaces, we aim to share our experience and accumulated wisdom with you.

Michael Krausz is one of the visionaries of information security in Austria and Europe and brings 30 years of professional experience to the Academy. Together with Mag. Krieger, he designed the first-ever courses on holistic information security in Europe in 1998.
Chief Learning Officer & Director of the CISO Academy
Mag. Horst Krieger, MSc. brings 30 years of experience in the design and implementation of large-scale training programs to the Academy.
A subscription allows your company to access all courses/programs for a fixed period at a flat rate. These periods are 3, 6, 9 or 12 months. This offering is intended for companies that regularly train or further educate many CISOs or ISBs.
Subscriptions start from EUR 25.000.-
Each course or program can also be purchased individually, with the price based on the agreed number of person-days and the number of participants.
The base daily rate is EUR 1.750.- per person per course day.
We grant registered early-birds a permanent 25% discount on all prices. The permanent discount does not expire.
We offer four execution variants for all courses and programs:
Full-Online Self Study
Course or program where you as a participant fully determine your own schedule.
Full-Online Assisted Self Study
Includes the course/program as well as weekly check-ins with your personal trainer. The trainer remains the same throughout the course duration.
1:1 / 1:n Online Training
Live trainings alone or in small groups with a trainer. The trainer remains the same throughout the course duration.
1:1 / 1:n Training - Onsite!
Live trainings alone or in small groups with your trainer on-site at your location or in one of our worldwide training rooms
Some courses or programs have a pre-phase in which, for example, individual content is agreed upon or your CV is evaluated for strengths and weaknesses.
Such courses and programs run as follows:
Pre-Phase
Clarification of all preliminary questions, transmission of necessary documents, etc., ideally 4 weeks before the course starts.
Preparation Phase
Preparation of the individualized content for your course or program
Execution Phase
Execution of your course or program as agreed (online or on-site)
For courses/programs with fixed duration, please refer to this price list for prices.
For courses/programs of variable duration, the price is based on the base daily rate and the agreed course duration as well as the number of participants.
For participants from consulting firms, a surcharge of 50% is added to all prices.
The surcharge does not apply to all early-birds.
For small groups, the second and third participant receive 10% discount, the fourth and fifth 15% discount, from the fifth to the eighth participant we grant 20% discount. Small groups consist of a maximum of 8 participants.
We gladly grant special discounts for students, employees of NGOs as well as affiliates of the federal administration, states and municipalities.
